Enterprise Green Communities sees the development of this Universal Design
specification as an important step in the ongoing national conversation
regarding social sustainability and housing. This Specification has been
designed as a companion to the 2011 Green Communities Criteria, as well as a
resource for those designing and building vibrant, multi-generational housing.
After the event, attendees will be able to identify how to integrate the
Universal Design Specifications into their future projects.

Incremental Cost,
Measurable Savings Update: The cost and benefits of the
Enterprise Green Communities Criteria

This month, Enterprise will release an update to Incremental Cost, Measurable Savings, a
report that illustrates the cost effectiveness of the Enterprise
Green Communities Criteria in delivering health, economic and environmental
benefits to developers and residents of green affordable housing. For this
latest report, Enterprise partnered with Davis Langdon to complete the analysis on an expanded
dataset of 52 green affordable housing developments, up from 27 included in the
2009 report.
This session reviews report findings and lessons learned from properties
designed and built to the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria.
